Brooklyn Lacrosse Club and WallGames on BricTV

Michael Bellamy of Brooklyn's own BricTV sat down with me, last week, to discuss WallGames and the Brooklyn Lacrosse Club.  Watch us chop it up below.

Lacrosse, which is rooted in centuries old North American Indian culture became a suburban sports game throughout the east coast of the United States during the 20th century. The sport continues to evolve, and now it's gaining urban appeal. On this segment, we welcome Khalid West, Co-Founder of the Brooklyn Lacrosse Club to talk about lacrosse in the city.

Asoyah Lacrosse presents at #Laxcon 2017

After coming up with and implementing the Asoyah Lacrosse regimen into Brooklyn Lacrosse Club, we were invited to Baltimore to present our version of urban lacrosse to the world.  Joe Nocella of BLC and I teamed up and gave an hour-long presentation, in which we discussed the challenges of BLC, the abundance of handball courts in NYC, and how we see these courts as an untapped resource for "growing the game" in cities.  US Lacrosse was excited, as were the many people who attended Laxcon.  We ran into and spoke to Myles Jone, Kyle Harrison, and Jovan Miller, among many others.  It was an incredible experience!
